We are collecting public statements from people who want to share their perspective on the University of Nottingham's disastrous proposal to cut 1 in 7 academic jobs in the mathematics department. Not only is this short-sighted, it also seriously casts doubt about the quality of education that can be provided to undergraduates and postgraduates.
